Through Conduit Knife Gate Valve with Pneumatic Cylinder

Through Conduit Knife Gate Valve is a specialized industrial valve engineered for reliable on/off flow control of media containing solid particles, dense slurry, fibrous materials, and dry bulk—featuring a unique through-conduit (full-port) design that eliminates flow obstructions and media accumulation.

Description

Features

-Bi-directional Seal:Bi-Directional Sealing Performance: Equipped with dual replaceable seats (side-entry design) for reliable bi-directional shutoff, ensuring zero leakage in both flow directions. Available in soft sealing (EPDM/PTFE) for tight shutoff in low-to-medium pressure applications and metal-to-metal hard sealing (stellite overlay optional) for high-temperature, abrasive media .

-Anti-Wear & Durability: The knife gate features hard chrome plating or stellite overlay for superior abrasion resistance, extending service life in harsh abrasive media. The valve body is reinforced with ribs (for large sizes) to enhance structural strength, while the gate’s thickness can be increased for higher pressure applications .

-Special L shaped replaceable seat

-Manual valves have stem protection tube

-Gate Protection device included on air actuated and Hydraulic actuated valves

Application

-Temperature Range:

  • Soft Sealing (EPDM/NBR): -10℃ ~ 120℃
  • Metal Hard Sealing: -29℃ ~ 800℃
  • Ceramic Lining: -20℃ ~ 300℃

-Primary Media: Dense slurry (mining tailing, coal slurry, ore slurry), pulp & paper stock, wastewater, sludge, fly ash, dry bulk materials (powders, pellets, cement), granular materials, viscous fluids, chemical slurry, and other media containing solid particles or fibrous materials .

-Applicable Scenarios: Mining industry (ore processing, tailing handling), wastewater treatment plants (sludge and sewage control), pulp & paper mills (pulp and fiber suspension), power plants (fly ash and flue gas desulfurization systems), chemical plants (corrosive slurry handling), bulk material handling facilities, and offshore/marine slurry transfer systems—all scenarios requiring unobstructed flow, anti-clogging performance, and reliable on/off control
