Triple Eccentric Offset Metal Seat Butterfly Valve

Triple eccentric means:-

1)The first offset is that the valve shaft is behind the disc shaft so that the seal can completely close the entire valve seat.

2)The second offset is that the centerline of the valve shaft is offset from the pipe and valve centerline to avoid interference from valve opening and closing.

3)The third offset is that the seat cone axis deviates from the centerline of the valve shaft, which eliminates friction during closing and opening and achieves a uniform compression seal around the entire seat.The biggest feature of this third eccentricity is that the sealing structure is fundamentally changed, it is no longer a position seal, but a torsion seal, that is, It does not rely on the elastic deformation of the valve seat, but completely relies on the contact surface pressure of the valve seat to achieve sealing Therefore, the problem of zero leakage of the metal valve seat is solved in one fell swoop, and because the contact surface pressure is proportional to the medium pressure, the high pressure and high temperature resistance is also solved.

This design will make the seat has no grating or rubbing while shutting or opening. This design will additionally make the triple offset butterfly valve form an air pocket, tight in high weight application and any longer lifetime as opposed to Double Offset butterfly valve.
