Y Type Globe Valve

Y-type globe valves have a Y-shaped internal design. This design allows the fluid to flow more smoothly when the valve is open, reducing fluid resistance. The stem is angled to the fluid passage, usually at 45 degrees, which not only minimizes the impact of the fluid on the valve internals but also reduces the operating force.Due to their Y-type design, the fluid flows more smoothly through the valve, resulting in less pressure loss and a smoother passage for the fluid.

Due to its unique design, the Y-type globe valve has internal components that experience more evenly distributed forces during fluid flow, reducing wear and extending the valve’s service life. However, its complex structure may increase the complexity and cost of maintenance.
